1. What inspired you to get into foodservice?

“I always had a side hustle as a BBQ pitmaster and then after semi-retiring from the corporate world, I turned my passion into a profession. We deliver American BBQ and Sweet Treats in Holland, because well, Dutch BBQ sucks.”

2. What do you love about your business?

“I love seeing the smile on the face of someone who is eating our food – whether it’s brisket or a dessert – that came out of the BBQ.”

3. What’s the most interesting thing to happen to your business?

“The coolest thing that has happened to our business is going through my own physical transformation. We devised a series of rubs that are all-natural, have no added sugars and are high in protein that helped me personally lose over 40 pounds in 2023.”

4. What is the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome?

“The biggest challenge we have overcome was quitting the corporate world where I was a CEO/CFO/COO and going the entrepreneurial route.”

5. Which Cambro products help make your business work?

“Oh my, so many of them! We use the Cam GoBox® for delivery of food items and all of the buckets (and lids) for our food prep. We even use brine buckets for washing dishes on-site.
