The Combo Cart™ Plus has become the first hot holding cabinet in the industry to earn the coveted endorsement from the Green Restaurant Association, a non-profit organization that has been greening restaurants since 1990.
For restaurants to become Certified Green by the GRA, they must accumulate 100 points in 7 sustainable categories—Water Efficiency, Waste Reduction and Recycling, Sustainable Furnishings and Building Materials, Sustainable Food, Energy, Disposable, and Chemical and Pollution Reduction.
The Combo Cart Plus gives operators a whopping 11.25 points towards their total goal. Those 11.25 points came by surpassing the rigorous requirements of maximum idle energy use of only 20 watts/cu-ft. The Combo Cart uses only 9.33 Watts/cu-ft!

About the Green Restaurant Association
The GRA provides environmental assessments, consulting, and a transparent certification program to help restaurants become more environmentally sustainable. Through a combination of setting up a full-scale recycling program to sourcing for local food, supplies and equipment, to educating employees and providing content for educational signage throughout the store, the GRA helps the operation become greener while reducing expenses.
