While Cambro Manufacturing is rooted in California, our second home is in Mebane, North Carolina. In 2015, our North Carolina Facility opened to help manufacture and distribute products to the Eastern US and Canada. Every April, Mebane welcomes its residents to celebrate the arrival of spring with a Dogwood festival. Dogwood is a flowering tree that has beautiful blossoming white or pink flowers in the springtime.
To celebrate their 34th year, the Mebane Business Association hosted a golf tournament, 5K race, carnival rides, food and craft venders and car show over April 22 and 23. Cambro sponsored the 5K race and had several employees participate in the challenge. We didn’t win first, but there’s always next year!
At our booth, attendees could spin the Wheel of Cambro to win a pen, special North Carolina magnet or Cambro football. The prizes delighted both children and adults alike—especially the accompanying Translucent Round of candy!
We are proud to provide additional jobs for Americans at our North Carolina Facility. Check out the open positions at all of our locations here: https://careers.cambro.com/.
