It’s been called the most important meal of the day. Yet, so many of us do without it. A healthy start to the day can provides:
- A more nutritionally complete diet, higher in nutrients, vitamins and minerals
- Improved concentration and performance in the classroom or the boardroom
- More strength and endurance to engage in physical activity
- Lower cholesterol levels
Eating breakfast is important for everyone, but is especially so for children. We’re wrapping up Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC) Week and with that in mind we’re sharing some breakfast facts that may make you reconsider skipping that early meal.
