The Lonestar State is home to the Cambro Featured Foodservice Business of the Week, Around the World Catering Service. Owner + Chef of the El Paso catering operation, Christopher Morrill, was inspired by his mother and grandmother to get into foodservice. “The love and artistic presence they brought while working in the food industry have been my number one inspiration.”
What does Christopher love the most about the business?
“Being able to serve our clients/guests and watch the reactions we get when they eat the food creations has been the best feeling ever.” That is a sentiment that we have noticed is shared by a lot of passionate foodservice professionals.
What’s the coolest thing to happen to your business?
For Christopher being in business is pretty cool, “being at a young age and small business owners has been the coolest thing for myself and business partner to date. It’s always great to get that reaction when clients ask how old we are and how long we’ve been in business.”
And what was the biggest business challenge Christopher overcame?
“Our age and starting out with $0 funding. We took the leap of faith and used all of our savings to start our business and it has paid off well.” Big risk, big reward!

“Cambro in general has made our business work great overall. From the carriers to storage bins. We started off buying pre-owned Cambro equipment and have made our way to buying brand new Cambro equipment.
