There’s something about a perfectly poured glass of wine after a long day of walking around and waiting in lines at a theme park. Restaurants inside these worlds of wonder know that having robust wine offerings is essential for adult park-goers. One restaurant inside a popular theme park in Orlando, Fla., offers more than 100 bottles of wine, 34 of which are offered by the glass.
“We have to have a lot of storage because we do sell majority by the glass,” said the general manager. “We had some rather old wooden racks in there and the wood is not what you need to use in a restaurant…so we needed them replaced.”

When it comes to wine, being able to clean the racks is essential. Previously with their wood racks, the general manager called their cleaning process “horrible,” saying they had to take everything outside to sanitize, bleach and hose them off.
“The best part about [the wine] racks is like the other Cambro shelving, the actual wine cradles can be taken off and run through the dish machine periodically. We can go through and in an easy 7-day week, we can send all the pieces through the dish room and wipe down the rest of the shelving parts…that’s probably the biggest advantage,” said the general manager.
“I think the cleanliness part of it, the sanitation part of it, and just the ease is a seller.”
Unlike Camshelving Wine Rack cradles, wire shelving needs additional space between each wine shelf.
“I think [the Cambro racks] are very compact and tight and get more for the square footage,” said the general manager.
The restaurant is equipped with nine Camshelving Wine Racks to maintain their stock of 800 to 900 bottles ready to be poured at any given time.
