This week’s FoodService business comes from Bozeman, Montana! It’s Yellowstone Alliance Adventures and it’s as much fun as the name implies.
Hanna Wolinsky, Director of Food Services, brought YAA to our attention. What inspired Hanna to get into foodservice?
“I was inspired by the times I spent cooking with my mother while growing up. Food became a good bonding time. I chose it as a field because I wanted to share similar experiences with others.”
That is a great answer on all fronts – food can certainly be a bonding experience.
What makes it so special at Yellowstone Alliance Adventures?
“I love having a dining hall full of happy kids, the opportunity to cook for different groups and always be meeting new people.”
A business that deals with that kind of volume, especially with kids, needs a lot of help. The coolest thing to happen to Hanna is “the amount of volunteers we have who are willing to come out and help us with projects.”
Biggest challenge Hanna had to overcome “was providing healthy creative meals within a tight budget. As a non-profit organization, we strive to make each dollar we spend yield high results.”
They must do a fantastic job!
What Cambro products help out Yellowstone Alliance Adventures?
“We use your square storage containers. They are great for keeping the food fresh. I especially appreciate how well they stack.”
Well, Hanna is in luck! As the featured foodservice business of the week, she will receive a storage container gift pack and be entered into the monthly $500 in Cambro products contest.
