What do you love about your business?
“I absolutely love sharing our cookies with new customers! The feedback and astonishment they have after having our cookies always warms my heart and gives me a little giggle. We are firm believers that once one becomes a customer, they will easily become a forever customer. We only ask them to always spread the word to help make the world sweeter one cookie at a time.”
What’s the most interesting thing to happen to your business?
“I’ve built this whole company all by myself. [I] Used any and all my savings and worked 2 jobs in the beginning, on top of baking cookies at night to jumpstart the company. I’ve really only used word of mouth for marketing the past 3 years too. This is the first year I’ve had to teach myself a whole lot about marketing! I love learning new skills to elevate the company even further.”
What is the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome?
“Blowing up so fast in 2020. I couldn’t keep up with orders and do literally everything myself. From recipe development to kitchen testing to ingredient shopping to customer service to social media/content development to packaging and shipping. I eventually was able to create many different processes to work more efficiently!”
Which Cambro products help make your business work?
“Since everything is made from scratch unless otherwise specified, plenty of storage containers are a must to make large batches of my recipes. I use a lot of the containers for my bulk items such as flour/sugar. Then I use the smaller 4qts to 8qts clear plastics to hold my fillings, top decor frostings, etc. for when I create double cookies, which is when edible cookie dough goes on top of our freshly baked cookies—making it double the size! For the edible dough batches, I almost always use the 22qts!”
